Dr. Karoline Bethea-Jones

CEO/Program Director

Dr. Karoline Bethea-Jones has devoted over forty years to Biblical/Theological studies. She has earned a bachelor's Degree in Church Ministry, a Masters's Degree in Theology, and holds a Doctorate of Biblical Philosophy in Theology. She is a licensed and ordained Minister and a certified Life and Mindfulness Coach. She is also a Certified Professional in Early Childhood Development. Dr. Jones is the founder of Sisters Helping Sisters in Christ Ministry and serves as CEO and Program Director. She is also the host of 'Real Talk with Real People; A Candid Conversation with, a SHSIC Ministry Monthly Podcast.

Mrs. Keyana Nikaamen

President

Mrs. Keyana Nikaamen has been a member of Sisters Helping Sisters in Christ Ministry since its inception in 2001. Keyana has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Corporate & Organizational Communication. Mrs. Nikaamen serves as the Chair of the Health and Wellness Committee. She is the founder of Hikeolution, a professional hiking group, and a certified Hike Leader. She leads all of the SHSIC Ministry's Spiritual Hikes and has taken the lead in implementing programs in alignment with SHSIC Junior Division, Start Right, Stay Right.

Ms. Anita D. Crum

Vice-President

Ms. Crum has a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources; as a second career. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Professional SHRM –CP. Ms. Crum is a member of Toastmasters; she joined Toastmasters International in 2010, a candidate member of the National Speakers Association, 2013 – 2015. Most recently, she joined the Sisters Helping Sisters In Christ (SHSIC) Ministry executive team as the Marketing Representative and the Financial Wellness Committee Chair.

Cristal Cornelio

Program Coordinator

Cristal Cornelio,  M.A. is a special ed certified High School History Teacher. She also coaches volleyball, basketball and softball.  As a Program Coordinator, Ms. Cornelio is responsible for researching, planning, developing, and implementing programs in alignment with the mission of Women’s Empowerment. She is the Chair of the Emotional Health Committee.

  

Najah Smith

Member

Najah is a single mother of two beautiful girls. She loves to read and write and is an all-around fun person. Najah is dedicated to working side by side with the executive team to build strong relationships between women. Najah will assist in implementing programs in alignment with SHSIC Junior Division, Start Right, Stay Right. and is the Co-Chair of the Relationship Committee.

Alexis Sims

Administrative Assistant
Alexis is a graduate of Kean University and a School Counselor. Ms. Sims has dedicated her time and energy to serve as Administrative Assistant for SHSIC Ministry and will assist in implementing programs in alignment with SHSIC Junior Division, Start Right, Stay Right. She is the Chair of the Relationship Committee.

Sister Annie V. Sims

Member at Large

Mrs. Annie V. Sims has devoted over 10 years to Sisters Helping Sisters in Christ Ministry. Mrs. Sims continues to be instrumental as a motivator and mentor to those she meets. Her continued faithfulness to the Word of God has been of great help to SHSIC Ministry. Mrs. Sims will serve on the Executive Board as a Member at Large.

Sister Adrienne E. Tisdale-Scott

Member at Large
Mrs. Adrienne Scott has been part of Sisters Helping Sisters since its inception. Mrs. Scott is a member of new Light Baptist Church where she teaches Sunday School. Her continued faithfulness to the Word of God has been of great help to SHSIC Ministry. Mrs. Scott will serve on the Executive Board as a Member at Large.
