Will You Be A Blessing To Someone?

There are so many people who are in need, right here in our own communities. Although I am aware that we can't help everyone, I am also very hopeful that we can help someone.

Sisters Helping Sisters in Christ Ministry will be creating "Blessing Bags" to give away to women in need. I am asking for assistance in identifying those women who will benefit from the bags. If you know of anyone who may be in need or anyone who would like to become part of this committee, please contact Minister Karoline Bethea-Jones at shsicministry@gmail.com.

Below are the items that I am looking to collect. Please feel free to share this information with others.  

Items Needed:

Any Item to hold goods:
  • Pocketbooks
  • Backpacks
  • Tote Bags

Any individually wrapped snack or drink:

  • Breakfast bars, cereal bars, granola bars, protein bars
  • Applesauce
  • Peanut butter and cheese crackers
  • Single-packaged nuts and trail mix
  • Vienna sausage in pop-top can
  • Foil tuna packs (not requiring a can opener)
  • Coffee
  • Bottled water

Grooming and hygiene products:

  • Combs
  • Hand lotion, Lip balm
  • Face towels
  • Soap, Hand sanitizer
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste

Useful items:

  • Plastic utensils
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect repellent
  • Gallon-size Ziploc® bags
  • Mints
