Sisters Helping Sisters in Christ

  A Uniquely Different Women's Ministry

Mobile Small Group Bible Study

Sisters Helping Sisters in Christ Ministry is a Mentoring Ministry. We mentor one another through Bible Study, Counselling, Life Skills and Fellowship. Bible Study is an important part of SHSIC Ministry. We learn biblical concepts to every day life situations through the amazing stories in the Bible. We use the many levels of God's biblical counselling to encourage one another and build each other up; we carry each others burdens when life get hard. The time we spend together in Bible Study builds relationships.

SHSIC Ministry offer mobile small group bible study to everyone who is interested in starting their own home based bible study class. We help you get started by providing lesson plans and attending your first three bible study classes (if you are local) to start the ball rolling. After that, you will be able to continue in your weekly or bi-weekly bible studies with your group on your own. If you are not local, we can meet via conference call to discuss your program and help you develop a lesson that will work for your environment.

Start Right, Stay Right Program

Start Right, Stay Right, is SHSIC Ministry junior division designed to work with children ages 5 to 15 with bible study, life lessons, homework and introduction lessons to Physics, Science, Chemistry and the Universe. SHSIC Ministry believe that exposing young minds to big ideas will help them to better understand the world around us. We also include art and music and projects that teach nature. There will be hikes geared for young feet and trips to museums and local zoos. Parents are always welcome to sit with their children or they can participate in the adult classes.

Women's Mentoring Ministry

In this mentoring program, we learn from each other; inspire one another and encourage each other in the Lord, as we are encouraged by God's Holy Spirit. We meet Bi-weekly starting in September in each others homes. We follow a lesson plan and each one has an opportunity to host a session. As we mentor, teach, and pray; we see new possibilities and the power of the Holy Spirit at work, not only in our lives but in the lives of others.

Each session is led by or observed by Minster Karoline Bethea-Jones. Minister Jones has been teaching and facilitating the classes for nearly twenty years. She encourages mentoring and fellowship.  She gives personalized attention to every woman and is a mentor to all.

If you are interested in becoming part of this very special mentoring ministry, please contact Minister Jones at [email protected]
